Plan Your On-Campus Visit

Thank you for your interest in visiting Smith College! Due to restrictions associated with the pandemic, on-campus events are limited. Please read the information below to schedule your on-campus visit.

You may also view all of our virtual offerings, including information sessions and interviews here.

On-Campus Tours
We are excited to welcome visitors to our campus for one-hour student-led campus tours. At this time, tour capacities are limited to three prospective students and two accompanying guests each. There are three waitlist slots available for each tour in the event of a cancellation.

We ask that all families register for just one date and time given the limited availability of tours. Please contact the Office of Admission if you need assistance.

Tours will be conducted outdoors and will not have access to buildings, with the exception of a brief walkthrough of a residential house. You must register for a tour in advance; we are not able to accommodate walk-in visitors with a guided campus tour at this time.

If you are not able to register for a guided tour, you are welcome to visit Smith and take a self-guided tour using our walking guide.

On-Campus Tour Schedule
Monday & Wednesday: 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Tuesday & Thursday: 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.

On-campus tours will be limited during the week of June 21-25, as our college will be in limited operations.

Please be aware that all guided on-campus tours are subject to day-of changes based on student guide availability. Self-guided tours using our walking guide are available for those who are unable to reserve a guided tour. Thank you for your understanding.

Before Your Visit
Prior to planning your visit to campus, please be sure to review the Massachusetts travel advisories. We are only able to welcome visitors to campus who are in compliance with the Massachusetts state guidelines.

Please consult A Culture of Care (Smith's COVID-19 response plan) for information on maintaining a safe and healthy campus environment.  If the Smith College alert level requires us to cancel your campus visit, we will notify you as soon as possible.

When You Arrive
Visitors will be required to wear masks in all indoor spaces on campus and are expected to follow all posted guidelines for social distancing. Masks are not required outdoors.

Tours will launch from the Smith College Conference Center (49 College Ln, Northampton, MA 01060) and campus visitor parking will be available between Sage Hall and the Conference Center. More details will be included in your confirmation email.
