ABOUT The Women of Distinction Program is an overnight, fully funded fly-in program. Intended for high school seniors, this annual event will highlight opportunities offered by Smith College for African American, Asian American, Latin American, Native American, and/or first-generation college students. Participants will have the chance to connect with current Smith students, faculty, and other community members. Additional programming will include a series of panels and workshops on academics and student life. Housing, meals, and transportation to and from campus are included.ELIGIBILITY At the time of the Women of Distinction Program, students must be living in the U.S., including U.S. territories. REQUIRED MATERIALS Admission to WOD is based on academic, extracurricular, and personal qualities. The following required materials must be uploaded before the material deadline stated below. Required materials may be uploaded directly on this application or through your applicant portal. After submitting your application, you will receive an email with login credentials to the applicant portal.
Thank you for your interest in Smith College. Unfortunately, students who currently hold a visa valid for study in the U.S. (F, J, H visas) are not eligible for the Women of Distinction Program.
